eBay Australia is having a Free Listing Day on Thursday, August 15th 2002!
For the first ever time eBay Australia is offering the chance to list your items for free using the auction or Buy it Now price formats.
What this means...
- All auction, auction BIN or Buy it Now items that are listed on eBay Australia (i.e. in $AU) between 12:00:01am AEST and 11:59:59pm AEST on Thursday 15th August will be free to list. Reserve and Final Value fees will still be charged.
- Listings are free for all categories excluding Real Estate.
- Listing in 2 Categories is free.
- Featured Auctions, Bold, Category Features and Gallery are all fantastic ways of increasing your item's profile but will still be charged the regular fee.

As a seller on eBay you have the choice of listing for free in two different price formats:
Auction - The traditional eBay way of selling. Name your start price and see how hugh the highest bidder is prepared to go.
BIN - The new eBay format. You simply enter the price at which you are prepared to sell your item or items. For the bidders it is first come, first serve.
