About Halo Reach
Halo Reach is another Xbox 360 exclusive game developed by Bungie and published by Microsoft Game Studios. During the development, Bungie divided into two teams that worked on Reach and Halo ODST separately as two different products. In terms of story, this game is a prequel of the first Halo. This means that the events in the game are before the time of Master Chief, so the main character is Noble Six, a nameless soldier in the elite Noble Team. The story is elaborate and exciting, and it puts all other stories from the Halo franchise in the shadows. Halo Reach is the last game Bungie made for this franchise and is nothing short of a masterpiece. The armour upgraded abilities are the hottest innovation introduced, while the active camouflage, the holographic facsimile, and, everyone’s favourite, the jetpack give your character a short-term advantage over the opposition. These upgrades are available in both the single-player and the multiplayer gaming modes, along with other ones such as sprint, drop shield, and armour lock. The armour abilities replace the single-use equipment power-ups from Halo 3 and make the campaign mode more diverse by adding ways in which a mission can be completed. With the engine upgrade created by Bungie, this game has advanced artificial intelligence. It challenges the players to devise tactics rather than just going in, guns blazing. Shooting your way through is impossible in some situations; many require taking cover and timing the counterattack. Thinking ahead and disabling defences is also crucial in some of the missions as well as the selection of the point of attack. All this makes Halo Reach more than a mindless first-person shooter.
