About Keith Urban
Though Keith Urban was born in New Zealand and grew up in Australia, he has become an international superstar. The handsome country singer released his first album in 1997, and it was a fast rise to stardom from there. Keith has been honoured with a multitude of awards, from American Grammy awards to the Aria Award. His country style fused with pop has produced catchy, chart topping singles like Somebody Like You and You’ll Think of Me. He has since married fellow Australian and actress Nicole Kidman, became a father, and had a job being a part of the judging panel on the singing talent shows The Voice and American Idol. Keith is not only an award-winning artist with perfect locks, but he is also a multitalented musician, and plays the guitar, banjo, piano, sitar, and drums, to name just a few of the instruments the talented star can play. Keith had a bit of a bad stretch when he had to enter rehabilitation for his personal addiction issues, but it only seemed to strengthen him as a person, an artist, and as a devoted husband. He’s had many successful tours, and he is considered to be one of the most successful artists of his time, and his platinum selling albums, number one hits, sold out live shows and positive critical reviews attest to this. Keith is also considered a guy that’s not too hard on the eyes, either. The popular Aussie seems to have it all and then some; great career, beautiful wife and kids, and a big, caring heart too; many of his songs are about his wife and their love and marriage.
