About Max Payne 3
Follow along with this former NYPD officer and undercover special DEA agent on a whole new vigilante mission. Max Payne 3 is a video game that was released in Australia on May 18th, 2012 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The Windows PC version was released on June 5th, 2012. The video game is a third person shooter where gamers take on the role of the title character. Players get an over the shoulder view with “bullet time” action sequences that made this franchise famous. These sequences have been greatly improved for this edition and offer gamers the ability to witness the striking of each shot on enemies in vivid detail. A new introduction is the Last Stand mechanic, which allows gamers a chance to kill the enemy that wounded them in order to keep playing the game rather than dying. This chapter of the game features Max as a slightly older and wearier version of himself. Set in Sao Paulo, Brazil, he works to protect a wealthy executive named Rodrigo Branco. After his employer’s wife is kidnapped, Max is pulled into a dark world that threatens to destroy him. The game offers stunning graphics and is run on the RAGE and Euphoria gaming engines. Published by Rockstar Games and developed by Rockstar Vancouver, the game introduces a new cover system that players love. The game was directed by Sergei Kuprejanov, Mark Tennant and Rob Nelson. An official soundtrack to Max Payne 3 was released on 23 March 2012, which contains primarily music composed by the hard rock band Health. The game offers several bonus features such as a Cemetery Multiplayer Map pack and a Silent Killer Multiplayer Loadout pack. A three-part graphic novel based on the game was released by Marvel.
