About Nokia N9
Smartphones have become the standard for mobile phones, and with Nokia previously dominating the mobile market, the company is sure to have a line of smartphones to offer its customer base. One model is the Nokia N9, codename 'Lannku'. The codename of this new phone is a Finnish word that means "a flat plank of wood,” a fitting definition to the no-frill design of the mobile phone. N9 runs on the Linux-based MeeGo "Harmattan" mobile operating system and it is available in four colours: cyan, magenta, white, and black. Displaying up to 16.7 million colours and coated with an anti-glare polarizer for readability in sunlight, the 3.9-inch touchscreen can wow a user with its capability to show images and texts. To make the smartphone more useful, Nokia included a GPS feature with magnetometer, Wi-Fi positioning, and applications for maps and drive in its N9 model. Camera has long been an integral part of a mobile phone, and Nokia N9 does not fail to deliver a main camera that has an autofocus feature, 4x digital zoom, 16:9 and 4:3 aspect ratio options, and a dual LED flash, inclusive of the Carl Zeiss lens that is characteristic of many Nokia phones. You can be assured that you can have a clear conversation even if you are in a noisy place because Nokia N9 has two microphones; one is used for conversation and recording and the other is for noise cancellation. Need more talk time? The battery of N9 can support 7 to 11 hours of talk time as well as 4.5 hours of video playback and 16 to 19.5 days of standby. Having a different design and functionalities, surely Nokia N9 is a breath of fresh air from common smartphones.
