About Xbox Games
Assassin’s Creed II is a fine choice for those who have an Xbox. Developed and published by Ubisoft, this action-adventure game was released in 2010 and was met with widespread acclaim. Combining the historical open world gameplay of Assassin’s Creed with the scenery of the late 50th-century Italy has produced a game that provides a truly enjoyable gaming experience. Mingling with many of the famous historical characters from that period such as Leonardo da Vinci and visiting breathtaking locations and landmarks in Italy turn ‘assassin’ into a much-desired profession. This sequel has improved some of the most important features of Assassin’s Creed. Movement is less restricted as the new assassin can now swim and even dive under water to hide from the guards. There are more ways to blend in with the surroundings and any group of people can now serve as a nice hiding place. Guards can be more or less alert of your presence, depending on the mission type, and when your character becomes wanted there are ways to reduce his infamy. Throughout the game, players can use various transportation methods such as horses and gondolas. The way in which the assassins fight has also been revolutionised. Players now have the chance to disarm an opponent and deal a lethal strike while he is defenseless. The character is well equipped with the tools of the trade provided by da Vinci, such as the dual hidden daggers and the Wheelock firearm. A large assortment of weapons can also be bought from vendors within the cities visited, and the assassin can use many objects within the game as improvised weapons.
