We all have our prejudices. One of mine is a liking for British coins. I find that they depict a rich history, are highly diverse, and for the most part well struck. An interesting interlude in British coinage is the period from the late 1700's to the early 1800's where a large number of renegade private mints struck what are now referred to as Conder Tokens. For those of you who might have an interest in this genera of tokens please see the Conder Token Collection and/or review the essay Conder Tokens in the carriagecoincollection guide section.
