Produced in 1982 by England's Thames Television, and broadcast for one season, the mystery anthology series THE AGATHA CHRISTIE HOUR routinely featured lesser-known Christie protagonists, such as Parker Pyne and Miss Lemon, against an exceptionally lavish and polished series of Art Deco sets. The ensemble cast included such celebrated actors as Christopher Cazenove, Ralph Bates, Amanda Redman, Cherie Lunghi and Rupert Everett. This box set contains five episodes from the series, as originally broadcast on English television: MAGNOLIA BLOSSOM, THE MYSTERY OF THE BLUE JAR, THE RED SIGNAL, JANE IN SEARCH OF A JOB and THE MANHOOD OF EDWARD ROBINSON.
