We bought One of these Macbook "Pro"s back in may 2011.
It was originally going to be used for seminars, and business trips, however due to is good processsing power it became a daily work horse for over 12 months.
Being made from one solid peice of Aluminium they are super solid, so dont be afraid to travel with them.
The Battery life is quite impressive. our record was at a seminar 2 months ago (yes over 12 months old now) and by dimming the screen, we got a full 9.5 hours use out of the computer. That was just running Word to type notes.
The Screen produces a good quality image which is great for watching movies on as well as editing photos and videos.
We purchased a mini display port adapter and connected a secondary monitor to it, which worked well. However the onboard graphics stuggled a bit with the extra load.
The only Con that i have to this computer is its overheating. when ever we push it to the limits such as converting video footage, unless well ventilated it does overheat and the aluminium case get scorching hot.
The other down, is althought labeled a "PRO" 4gb or ram, 2.4ghz I5 and 500gb hdd isn't the sort of stats that you are used to from apples power notebooks.
Overall, a good laptop that holds its value well.

) I needed this product to use for uni work. I like the slick design of the macbok pro. The size is perfect and display screen is immaculate. This product compares far superior to any other i have used.
