It's obviously not as good as the newer machines.
On a used machine like this, the battery tends to fail or not give good life - so needs replacing (which is relatively cheap and easy to do) and the optical drive can get dirty and intermittently fail (and just needs the lens cleaned)
I bought this for my dad and he's in love with it. Much faster than his earlier Windows based laptop and he finds that it's quite easy to use.
