Apple iPhone 4S - 64GB - Black Smartphone

I have not owned an apple product to date. Have used top or the range Nokia N97 and Blackberry Torch and have been quite happy with them. This phone is very easy to use, love the responsive touch screen, the glass seems very resistant to scratch. Apps are great and all is very user friendly. Call sound quality is good as is signal reception. Battery lasts me the full day with lots of use regardless of others bad experiences I have about 40% power left right now at 9pm after a good days using of facebook, email, browsing and Siri. When she works. That would be at the mo my only complaint is that Siri the assistant seems to have taken unauthorized leave. The assistant is very eratic and many times cannot connect to the network. I understand this is a Beta version and as such not yet complete, and I can live with that...for now. But you do become reliant and when you need it you need it. So if it works 80% it would be acceptable, but I am getting about 35% successful response from Siri. When she works it is it great. She seems to understand most of what I say even though I have a sort of South African accent and not American or Uk. She is witty, sarcastic and helpful. I like that she is not just a robot and seems to think for herself and not just give the same old robotic answers. She is quite addictive and fun. Music and sound quality is fantastic as is the photo and video quality. Back to Siri, it would be great if she would vocally do the reminding of appointments and reminders. Perhaps this may come in the future. The phone hooks up easily to wifi where ever you go and will prefer wifi to data over isp so you do not get wacked with big data usage. Overall good phone. I ordered a Life Proof cover which will protect it a bit better and also ensure waterproofing. I fully recommend this as a business tool and hope that Apple will improve and enhance their server capacity so that we can make full use of the Siri side of things.

One would think the biggest problem of the iPhone 4S is that it isn't an iPhone 5. Go ahead and say it to a phone whose launch broke sales records and sent the bereaved company's stock soaring.
But this is not what people should care about either. It's not the place for what ifs. The truth is Apple will really need to step on the Fast Forward button with the iPhone 5. A massive challenge - and they need time and a clear mind to do it right.

It's not the right time for Apple to go for speeds that may throw them off course. It would be wrong though to look at the iPhone 4S as a mere time-buying move. In fact, the iPhone 4S has the right measure of Fast and Forward in it. And some of it is to be taken literally.

The iPhone 4S is blazing fast on the new dual-core CPU and graphics chip. And by the way, this is a long-term asset - new apps and services will take advantage and they'll be exclusive to the 4S. The iPhone is finally up there with the industry's finest camera phones too. In fact, it may well have the best 8MP stills and Full HD videos a mobile phone can produce. iOS 5 is busy making a difference too with the iCloud, iMessage, OTA updates, new notifications and voice recognition. On top of that you get the best app store and the brilliant looks of the original iPhone 4.

When you add it all up, Apple have a smartphone that can match and even outclass formidable peers like the Samsung Galaxy S II, the Galaxy Nexus or the Nokia N9. In the US, it will be the likes of the HTC Amaze 4G and the Verizon DROID RAZR.

For millions of people though it will be between the iPhone 4 and the iPhone 4S. Tough one we know. But hey, there's an app for that:

I have upgraded from a 3g to this 4s and am loving it.Great phone full of features....I'm a big Apple fan and find that all the extra fexctures are well worth it. Siri can be quite helpful and funny. the graphis are awesome and the volume seems to be better than the 3g...
It is the ultmate phone atm and I would recomend it to anyone. I do find it easy to sync and to use the cameras are both good and to use facetime is awesome also....The camera being accessable from the lock screen is a handy add on and the video is great quality for a phone :P
This phone is so much eaiser to use than many other types phones I have had to use. Battery life is a little soft but does well all the same (maybe a Morph Juice Boost pack could be a good idea)
The phone runs sooo smothly I was very superised...and happy about that. everything seems to just slide through what ever your doing..
Well worth the money spent and I am very happy I spent it :P
iPhone 4s is a wonderful phone that is easy to use and and a pleasure to use. I recommend this phone to everyone from all walks of life as it will fit all types of use from the CEO the the stay at home Mother.

My experience so far has been by far less than satisfactory .I placed my order on 28th August and have not yet received my purchase to date 2nd October so i guess you can appreciate my disappointment and frustration . I now have a claim in process and probably will not have anything resolved for another month. A pretty poor outcome from a purchase that supposedly was coming from Sydney. I will certainly be revevaluating my options before purchasing anything else online.

Great phone, so easy to use, id rather have this than any other touch phone on the market, only thing is the battery isnt very good but im sure they will do that when they bring out the iphone 5
