) I have been using a canon 40D dslr for four years. So I decided to go to full frame. 5D II is a very good choice price wise, since the mark III just came out. Coming from a 40D user, I have nearly zero learning curve on getting used to this camera. 9 AF points is very handy to me, since I can switch focus point to the one I want with one move on the joystick on the back of the camera. The screen is sharp and clear. The Full High Def movie recording feature is awesome.

) This is actually a 21Mp camera. This webpage incorrectly says it is 12.8MP... Make sure that you have full frame lenses to go with it, and that you fully understand aperture, depth of field, and ISO before buying one.

A wonderful camera - love the full frame for landscapes and noise at high ISOs is minimal. Quality of photos is unbelievable.
