    Description
Follow the first six years of Harry Potter's matriculation at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry with this box set that contains the original video releases of HARRY POTTER AND THE PHILOSOPHER'S STONE, HARRY POTTER AND THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS, HARRY POTTER AND THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN, HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX, HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE, and HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE. The films, based on the writings of author J.K. Rowling, chart Harry's progress as he discovers his magical powers, meets his soon-to-be two best friends, learns how to play the school sport, Quidditch, and begins to understand how the forces that killed his parents are still out to do him harm. In the sixth thrilling instalment, Harry returns to Hogwarts for another year of schooling and learns more about the dark past of the boy who grew up to become his arch nemesis, Lord Voldemort. While trying to thwart Voldemort's evil plans and save both the Muggle and wizarding worlds from imminent disaster, Harry is struck by the love bug that seems to be going around Hogwarts. Fortunately, Dumbledore, his trusty mentor, is on hand to prepare him for the monumental battle that's looming ever closer.

    Editorial Reviews
Moody and magical... PHOENIX brims with sizzling entertainment and action... a dark and delicious delight
    Sunday Mirror (11/15/2007)

You may not believe in magic. But believe in the magic of the stunning movies which, like J.K. Rowling's gripping books, are set to be a global phenomenon for many years to come... AZKABAN delivers in spectacular fashion. Harry has come of age
    Daily Mirror (07/13/2009)

The sixth episode of the adventures of the increasingly burdened magic warrior of Privet Drive is a more human affair than its predecessors
    Time Out (10/29/2009)

For fans both of the films and the books, [THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE] is an elegant addition to the canon
    Daily Telegraph (10/30/2009)

[THE PHILOSOPHER'S STONE is] the WIZARD OF OZ of its time. A complete triumph
    Ebert And Roeper (10/30/2009)

As Potter movies go, [ORDER OF THE PHOENIX] is the most filmic of the lot, suspenseful and action-packed
    Empire (10/30/2009)

[THE PHILOSOPHER'S STONE is] spellbinding... more magical, exciting and fun than the first
    Jonathan Ross (10/30/2009)

In granting THE GOBLET OF FIRE an earthier real-world tone, Newell has crafted a parable about the pains and pangs of adolescence. In doing so, he has made the most grown-up Potter yet
    Sight And Sound (10/30/2009)

[THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE] is more of the same tried and tested formula to be sure, but it's a formula that produces pure gold
    The Times (10/30/2009)

[THE PHILOSOPHER'S STONE] looks just as dazzling as readers of Rowling's captivating book might hope
    USA Today (10/30/2009)

Dazzlingly well made and perhaps deliberately less fanciful than the previous entries, [THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE] is played in a mode closer to palpable life-or-death drama than any of the others and is quite effective as such
    Variety (10/30/2009)

The standout achievement in [THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE] is knockout spectacle
    Empire

Rupert Grint is very good... [THE PHILOSOPHER'S STONE] will captivate younger children
    Sight And Sound
