Product description

Product Information
With more than fifty Olympic events, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games takes the players to the heart of London for the best competitive action in 3D. Up to four players will discover multiple ways to control the fun as they are able to touch the tactile screen, blow into the microphone, and tilt the Nintendo 3DS console. The stars of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games are the well known Nintendo personages Mario and Sonic, along with twenty more characters. The game features glasses-free 3D visuals and a 3D gyro-sensor. This sensor moves the Nintendo 3DS console carefully and precisely in sports such as archery, or makes moves to push back and forth in rowing. As in the real Olympics, to collect multiple medals will require a lot of versatility of the players. In the "Olympic Mode" of the game, players can choose to compete in one sport or participate in "Match Medley" that consists of multiple modalities. Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games features the opportunity for every player to see the records of players worldwide in the online leader boards. The players can even create their own "medleys" and share them with other players of Mario & Sonic. While the game doesn't offer the possibility for online multiplayers, it does allow local multiplayers.

Its a fun little game, probably more fun on multiplayer. Its shortcomings are that you cant play multiplayer online, its a bit too simplified gameplay to keep interest, be fun as a party game, and something different when sick of killing everything lol!

This game was bought for my 9 year old Grandson for Xmas. It arrived just in time, Xmas Eve, and he received it on Xmas Day. For the next 36 hours he never left the front of the TV. My daughter had to put a little chair next to him, so she could put all his meals there. He did not stop playing till his arm and hand no longer worked. When asked if he was happy with the game, he answered, "sure am!!"
