A group of monsters--including a supersized bride, a brilliant cockroach with a PhD, a bizarre ape-fish hybrid, a gelatinous and indestructible blob, and a 350 foot grub--are released from a government compound in order to defend mankind from an evil alien robot. In their heroic efforts, they prove that they each have something special to offer and that together they can really make a difference.
