This is one of the original consoles that was created when gaming started to enter the family living room.Although contemporary gaming has a lot going for it you can never deny the joy of re visiting were it all started.very rarely do we get a chance to go back in time and see what it was like for those children (and some adults)to play games in their own homes were up until then they had to go to arcade gaming halls with a pocket full of 20 cent pieces to fill in an hour or two after school before going home.

I bought this console because I am starting a retro game collection and to play the original games on the original console,I much prefer playing the real game than on an emulator.I love the controller and the general look of it.It looks Amazing and with a HUGE library of games to choose from, this is the best console from the 80's.There are no dislikes I have with the Nintendo entertainment system[Nes].This console is much better compared with the Atari 2600,Atari 7800 and the Atari 5200 and, was a video game icon then and now.It is a must have for collectors or people of nostalgia.

This is my favourite platform on which to game. There are so many solid classics for this system that it is impossible to overlook if you're a collector or just an avid fan of gaming.
Even though the NES is now very old, my experience with the console suggests to me that the system was well-designed, as many of the consoles with which I've come into contact have needed minimal, if any attention. The system is also very easy to maintain, as is its media, which are virtually indestructible by today's standards. I've seen cartridges boiled, frozen, thrown off five-storey buildings and burnt in mild fires, living to game ever on.
Indie homebrew developers are turning their attention towards the NES platform now, too. An example of some really high-quality games being made today for the NES is Battle Kid, which was inspired by I Wanna Be the Guy.
The NES is a classic. Get one today, and join a vintage/retro gaming community online.
