The 14.1 MP has a very good resolution and combined with the 16x zoom LEICA lens you can photograph everything from macro to wide angle landscapes.This lens is superb for a little pocket camera and the price was right.
This camera has also an afordable underwater housing, which is very much in demand for diving.

) I am so happy with this little camera. For a small point and shoot it doesn't have anything you could really complain about. Great zoom capability and a nice clear picture. I would remind though it is a point and shoot...don't expect the same results as with a larger unit with all the trimmings.If there was one criticism it would be shutter speed but that is only nit picking really I have one of those but this little camera is the one going on holidays with me this year. I love it and would recommend it as an option for anyone

) I currently own a Panasonic camera and that was the reason I had no hesitation to purchase a Panasonic point and shoot camera for my wife for Christmas. The Panasonic features a Leica lens which takes fabulous pictures. Its a very easy to use camera that has an automatic setting as well as advanced settings for the more serious photographer. Great pictures with this little gem.

) I love this camera - the clarity of the pictures with the Leica lens takes some beating, so I recommend it to anyone that wants the image to be perfect, compact easy to carry, whoever buys this camers will be satisfied.

Bought this camera for my wife after seeing some friends with similar cameras. Picture quality is very good and even with the zoom, the quality is high, so you can get interesting faces and market scenes (we took it to India) and the GPS allows you to be able to identify places later when the trip is a bit of a blur, especially when using iPhoto which will put photos into albums based on location. I would highly recommend the camera
