It is an action-adventure game and an open-world game that comes third in the Saints Row series. The story of this Microsoft Xbox 360 video game deals with the urban gang war between the Saints and three other gangs: the Morningstar, Deckers, and Luchadores, in the fictional city of Steelport. The player gets to be the leader of the Third Street Saints. In the preceding games of this action-adventure game series, the player would approach each of the three rival gangs via distinct story lines, which had a separate conclusion for each of them; in Saints Row: The Third, the storylines of the gangs are interconnected and are played sequentially. There are activities the player can do outside the missions, which will earn him or her money or respect. Money, of course, means more territory, weapons, and upgrades. The purpose of taking over the city and crushing the competition, as well as the fact that the player gets rewarded for virtually anything, from car collisions to running naked in the streets, keep players engaged from the first to the last minute. The game is a virtual adult theme park that gives the public with an appetite for violence and sex what they came for. Saints Row: The Third can be played via system link or cooperatively online. | |
