Samsung GALAXY Ace - Black Smartphone

I bought this phone for my wife so when she traveled overseas it would work on other networks around the world. Guess what, IT WORKED perfectly so all the research paid off. Works every time and I have to say that for a lady who spends very little time with technology she has found it easy to use. It has all the main features needed and it does it well can even sync to computer. The only thing I would say is that it is a bit slower than a unit that cost 3 times the price. Great unit at a great price!

Best value for money Android phone, I reckon. I bought this for my brother who has never used a smartphone before and have been using it myself for a week or so before giving it to him. Screen is a good useable size, big enough for comfortable GPS navigation without making this phone feel like a notepad when you hold it to your ear. Processor is fast enough when switching between apps. I have had no force closures or lock-ups. Have had some probs trying to get widgets on screen for some apps (Weatherzone & Business Calendar) but others are fine. It's very like my Galaxy S2 in looks and feel. I'll never go back to Nokia since using Android. I would highly recommend this phone to anyone who wants an affordable Android phone that still has the speed and features of a more expensive one.

The Samsung Galaxy Ace is an excellent phone and I have had the phone for four days and I would recommend it to anyone. It's features are great and i especially like the swipe option when texting. The battery life is not crash hot. You will need to charge it daily if you are a heavy phone user. It has a great speaker and quite easy to use. I compared it to the Samsung S2 and everything seemed very similar. I still haven't found any differences.

I recently purchased two unlocked phones and whilst good for the first two weeks, the phones now take too long to unlock the first screen, upto 20 secs, and to also open the text functions etc. I don't know if this is due to the phones being unlocked and anything else that may have been done to it prior to purchase. The only thing I have added is a Nokia SMS tone otherwise it is App free. Strongly advise against buying an unlocked phone. No stars, as far as I am concerned.
