Samsung Galaxy Note - 16GB - White Smartphone

The Galaxy Note in one word is BIG. As an upgrade from Galaxy S2 I found it identical to it in many respects. Same battery life, same type of display, same camera, same call quality. All my apps from S2 work the same way. I got used to the screen size very quickly and now find the S2 screen too small let alone the iphone screens. Instead of 4x5=20 icons per screen you get 5x6=30 icons. Thus 50% larger effectively which removes much of the clutter. The pen is usefully kept within the phone and its ability to capture a screen and to scribble on it before sending it by email is neat. To me it is a mini pad that I can carry in my pants pocket. I cannot imagine myself carrying a larger phone but don't think I will be carrying a smaller one either. So its probably a perfect size for me.

Love this phone. It does everything I want it to do. The screen size is such a bonus. Seriously! Why would you want to own a smaller screen when most of the interaction is online. Only downside is battery life, but we bought two as backup, and night time photos -still a phone camera. But daylight shots are amazing.

I love the phone, its display and features. It is a little larger than the old galaxy even with my big hands one finger can not cover all the display! The big Glass screen does not like being dropped, I have smashed one of these already. Consider a wrist strap or at least a gel cover. Fumble fingers aside very clear display, Good voice recognition fast CPU and surprising good battery life far better in fact than my old Galaxy S. I get a full day out of mine about 16 hours normal use including browsing about half an hour, 100odd e-mails and about twenty short calls. If you sit browsing and video skyping like I do on a Sunday then that drops to about 4 hours. The Camera and video is excellent. It's A bit gawky looking when you hold it to your ear but its great for hands free calling and if you want a GOOD PDA this is the one for you. Having the Pen allows you to do so much more, more accurately than you can with other Smart Phones and the screen capture facility is great. Seriously I do not know how I did without this Phone.

This phone is amazing because it's BIG and when I showed it off to my friends at karate training and uptown, they thought it was a mini iPad I refused to share with anyone else! Compared it an iPhone4 and it's tiny, so yes, I do plan on sticking to this phone for a while...this time, when it breaks. Before buying this awesome Phablet, I owned a HTC HD2 phone and the texting on it was fine but on the Note1 it's heaps better and comes with a Swype keyboard as as setting -- have it on or off. The S-Pen with it is fine and it does take some time getting used to and I would like to recommend it to a friend or anyone who is after a big phone.
This Note1 cost me just over $300 but the person who owned it only took it out of the box and found as an unwanted Christmas present and he let me buy it off him for a bargain -- I didn't have to worry about spending over $500++ on this sort of awesome device and I'm very happy with my purchase! Thank you eBay and thank you to the guy who sold it me for a Bargain price! Oh, battery life on this phone is amazing, but DON'T let your GPS data and other data stuff that is line with the GPS run on Unlimited because it really does chew up the battery.

An awesome "phablet" which incorporates features of both phone and tablet. A huge 5.3" crisp HD AMOLED screen is perfect for watching movies as videos look awesome compared to other phones (especially black levels). The stylus is fun and easy to use and is surprisingly very precise when handwriting and drawing on the Galaxy Note. The camera is also clear boasting an 8MP camera and full HD video recording. Despite the size it easily fits into my pocket and the screen size is perfect for my school lifestyle of reading textbooks and webpages. Overall a powerful and fast hybrid phablet which suits those with big hands or those who want features from both phone and tablet.
