Additionally, the Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor at the core of this digital SLR camera brings high resolution with reduced noise, even in low-light situations. To rapidly zoom in on a scene, this Sony 16.1 MP camera deploys tele-zoom high-speed shooting with a 1.4x increase of focal length. Sony's exclusive By Pixel Super Resolution Technology enhances the Sony alpha a57, doubling the effective focal length, therefore providing greater shooting flexibility. Other features of this digital SLR camera include an eye-level electronic viewfinder with an easy-to-use interface, SteadyShot INSIDE stabilization, and a tilt-and-swivel 3-inch (7.62-cm) LCD screen.
