Additionally, the extendable antenna of the T165i allows maximal coverage in rural or remote areas, and its large Li-ion battery promises long life, offering 3.5 hours of talk time and 250 hours of standby time. The ZTE T165i is equipped with a 2.0 MP camera with digital zoom and autofocus capabilities, and facilitates video calling with its dual camera design. Furthermore, the ZTE T165i comes with a calendar and personal organiser. This ZTE mobile phone supports MP3 audio files and MP4 video files and includes an FM radio. Its Java MIDP 2.0 software for applications and games rounds off this entertainment package. For convenience, the T165i is compatible with a hands-free car cradle that uses an external antenna. | |

) Brought the ZTE T165i bundled together with Bluetooth and outside antenna bolted to the bull bar because we do a lot of camping out of the normal communication range. Reasonable easy to use, battery life ok but as in another review it’s a bit bulky you do get used to that thou.

I have a motorhome and constantly free camp which lots of time i am outside the normal range this phone should give me better reception It has bluetooth for hand free operation ease of operation and sturdy build The battery life is not as long as other phones i have had Compared to other phones ive owned it is very bulkey

A great product and one of the very best model phones for range and easiness to use. 10 out of 10 for this phone. They are so good that I now have three of them.
Good for a surveyor, wouldn't buy it if I didn't need to connect to a TSC2

) Unlike the newer model (T165+), the T165i can connect to a Trimble TSC2 and link into GPSnet for corrections in Victoria. For a surveyor, this is a useful phone.
For anyone using predictive text, it definitely has some holes. Probably not designed by someone who speaks English as their first language.
