You can pick up a pair of cheap sunglasses for say,  $10  at a Gas Station........ Or even get yourself a pair, at a ' Small Stall Setup ' at some major shopping mall,   and you will not have to stress about losing them,                                       at this $10 or so price tag. But is this the best way to invest your money?

Most Fashion Aficionados  agree though,
that you’re better off spending your hard earnt money on a well-designed, quality expensive  pair.  Because you’ll be both happier with how they look, and you'll be less likely to misplace them.

Most people love Brand Name Eyewear. And whenever they put them on, they feel like a FILM STAR or MUSIC STAR on the spot !

And because they were so expensive, every time you take them off you're carefully putting them back in their neat protective case.

Cheap or counterfeit copies ~ 'GOODBYE'  and in the bin,  the bottom of the bin, or even under the bin !

People have argued in the past that cheap sunglasses can be just as good quality wise, but that doesn’t really take into account how they LOOK.

And there is something to be said for investing in one-off quality fashion items,
rather than constantly ditching those nasty flimsy cheapies,  wherever they may land!

The most assuring fact  when buying Genuine Authentic higher priced eyewear ,
is that of the the lenses !

Long term exposure to UVR,  UVB,  and  UVC  light  rays.

Can  cause serious damage to eyes.
such as clouding in the lens of the eye (cataracts) which in later  obscures vision.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BRAND NAME sunglasses,  must comply with rigid  WORLDWIDE  standards,
when it comes to the aspect of -
 ' the Lens Protection Rating ' .

The lens ratings system in which,  lenses are tested for their ability to deflect ,
all  3  of the  eye damaging light  rays,  that are produced by our sun.

These being -  UVR  ,  UVB ,  and    UVC   light  rays.

The WORLD-WIDE standards also include physical strength tests of the actual lens.
ie.  shatterproof testing,  and impact resistance.

These redeeming features are found in various grades of polycarbonate lenses, that are fitted in all reputable Brand Name sunglasses,  plus all the very way to the most expensive boutique sunglass brands ( ie. Louis Vuitton - e.t.c )

Falling into the price range of $2000 - $10,000+

The quality standards,
that all ' Brand Name '  eyewear must comply with are:

 ANSI Z80.3-2001  ( USA )

 AS/NZS 1067:2003  ( Australia )

 EN 1836:2005   ( European )
