RPG has always been my favorite type of game. Over the times I have had chance to get my hands on a large number of RPG on PS2 both in Australia and Overseas. Since it is hardly to find a good suggestion beside Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest in most of the game stores in Austrlian, this guide will help those who are looking for something new and as interesting as the 2 big titles above. So if you think you are a Japanese style RPG junkie, this is going to be your shopping list:

   1. Stella Deus: The Gate of Eternity
   2. Suikoden Tactics
   3. Phantom Brave
   4. Front Mission 4
   5. Disgaea: Hour of Darkness
   6. La Pucelle: Tactics
   7. Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne
   8. Wizardry: Tale of the Forsaken Land
   9. Shadow Hearts: From the New World
  10. Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga 2
  11. Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga

  16. Makai Kingdom: Chronicles of the Sacred Tome
  17. Grandia III
  18. Okage: Shadow King
  19. Radiata Stories
  20. Fullmetal Alchemist 2: Curse of the Crimson Elixir
  21. Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana
  22. Magna Carta: Tears of Blood
  23. Steambot Chronicles
  24. Musashi Samurai Legend
  25. Shining Force Neo
  26. Atelier Iris 2: The Azoth of Destiny
  27. Orphen: Scion of Sorcery
  28. Fullmetal Alchemist and the Broken Angel
  29. Shining Tears
  30. MS Saga: A New Dawn
  31. Future Tactics: The Uprising
  32. Metal Saga
  33. Fullmetal Alchemist and the Broken Angel
  34. The Nightmare of Druaga
  35. Virtua Quest
  36. Arc the Lad: End of Darkness
  37. Ephemeral Fantasia
  38. Inuyasha: The Secret of the Cursed Mask
  39. Tsugunai: Atonement
  40. The Legend of Alon D'ar

Some of the games may called differently in Australian for example "Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga" is called "Lucifer's call" in Australia. And some of games have never had a European release such as Arc the Lad: End of Darkness. But I have included them anyway because hopefully one day there will be an Australian version of it and you can proudly tell your mates you know more than they do.
