Each piece of fashion jewellery available in my store has been carefully constructed using quality jewellery findings. Many of the pieces have been painted, polished and sealed to give a vintage-style appearance. Chains have been selected due to appearance, strength and tarnish-resistance.

Looking After Your Jewellery

Polished and sealed fashion jewellery shouldn't need excessive cleaning. To remove any surface dirt, simply wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Do not apply any chemicals to your jewellery. The only exception might be when raw (unsealed) brass and copper chains start to darken (oxidise). At this point, these chains can be gently rubbed with a polishing cloth to bring out their shine. Never apply water to fashion jewellery. Similarly, never wear fashion jewellery in the shower, pool or to bed. Avoid wearing fashion jewellery when it is humid and you are likely to sweat heavily.

Caring for Lockets

Always open your locket on the side opposite to the hinge. Before closing, make sure the clasp (friction pin) is lined up with the hole opposite. Never force the locket shut as this may flatten and break the pin. Locket clasps will withstand reasonable use but shouldn't be opened and closed too frequently, as they will eventually wear out.

If you look after your fashion jewellery, it should remain in good long-term condition. Please click on ‘Ask a question’ underneath item descriptions if you have any further questions about items in my store.
