Hi everyone I have to share something very special with you all. I have found a product range that is wonderful and so easy to use. Not available in Australia at all. but I have managed to score myself some and now I am sharing that same information with you all. IF you want to hear it. ( Well bad luck if you don't LOL cos I am gonna shout it from the rooftops) :)
Close to My Heart is just that; it is a product range sold in the USA and Canada that us Aussies miss out on but hopefully not for long. I am constantly asking them to have Australian Consultants, but unfortuneatly the answer is No. The only way to get them to Australia is through friends and family, Time will tell and if enough of us stampers and scrapbookers keep on at them maybe they will see that there is a fledging market here for them too. ( remember Paypal when they didn't process in AUD but now they do)
REGARDLESS as I said I have some of them here and now I will tell you a bit about them.
They sell these wonderful acrylic stamps that are so easy to work with. Called My Acrylix. Here is a brief run down on them for you and then I will let you know where in Australia you can get them ( I am trying not to toot my own horn here)
Acrylic stamps are for sale at a fraction of the cost of rubber, yet deliver all the benefits and beauty of every Close To My Heart product that you will Hopefully come to know and love. They are so easy to use, easy to store, ( they take up very little space) they come with their own little snap shut case, they offer creative control and artistic precision every time you use them. it is because they are clear so you to see exactly where the stamp is placed and whether or not there is even coverage of ink. ( something you can't do with the traditional rubber stamp.with a wooden block) You can choose a block that perfectly fits an individual image, or you can use a larger block and design your own “scenes” by placing multiple images on a larger-size block. the blocks are great cos you can move the stamps around the blocks. and put them away and use another stamp on the same block. Solves the storage problem that come with the regular Wooden mounted Rubber stamps. You can also manipulate the stamp images on the block to create curves and/or waves. and the Stamps have a “memory,” they will always go back to their original shape time and time again. stamps are made of a softer substance than rubber and don’t require as much pressure when in use. ALSO they physically last longer than Rubber, ( remember rubber perishes with age and use ) Acrylic stamps provide the same results when used with embossing products, markers, watercolors, and more. they have available stamps for Alphabet Sentiments Frames/tags/borders Spring Summer Autumn Winter Celebration Everyday Life Animals outdoor and travel
Just remember this
Precision: clear mounting blocks allow you to stamp in exactly the right spot, time after time.Versatility: mix and match stamp images to create your own unique designs, backgrounds, and borders. Mounting blocks are available in various sizes so you can stamp more than one image at a time. Simplicity stamps are easy to maintain, store, and transport!
WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT in a Stamp of course these can also be used for scrapbooking, cardmaking, paper craft school and if you are into it office work too. :) Close To My Heart also offers top quality stamping and scrapbooking products.
