Australian John Lennon Imagine LP

A quick guide to identifying an original Australian John Lennon Imagine LP:

Hi, my name is Peter.  Below is another quick guide and this time I'm concentrating on the Australian issue of the album Imagine by John Lennon.

1) The cover was a single cover which was laminated on the front.

2) It came with an inner sleeve which contained the credits and lyrics.  First issue inner sleeves were a bit more flimsy than later issues.

3) Came with a full size poster of John Lennon sitting at his white piano.

4) Came with a small photocard of John Lennon holding a pig by the ears parodying Paul McCartney's photo on the Ram album cover.

5) The record was heavy 150g or more.

6) The record label was custom made with one side showing a photo of John Lennon's face and the other just a plain sliced apple.  The early labels had the publisher Essex featured under the song "Oh My Love" in bold text.  This text can be found very bold or just plain bold.  Later issues dropped the Essex text.

This LP is not rare but finding a near mint copy with the Essex text on the label is not easy.
