There have been a lot of items on eBay that are a rip-off. Either there is an identical listing where the item can be between $10 to $60 cheaper or the item is in fact cheaper when new in store.
For example, I saw a headband on eBay for around $30 which I fell in love with. I told myself I'd buy it on pay day. The day came around and I decided to go have a look in the store since I was in the city and I was curious as to how much the RRP was. The item was on sale for $10, new with tags, no imperfections. I snatched it up and left the item for another eBayer.
I feel bad when I see people bidding on things or 'buy it now' prices that are sky high compared to their other options. I wanted a way to let people know then I found this guide thing and decided it was the best way to let people know.
I've never tried to rip a buyer off and I never will, everyone deserves a fair go and I don't want to make a fool out of someone and basically scam them out of their hard earned money that could be put to better use. Because of this, I keep my prices low as possible or whatever I think is reasonable and you can usually find a good bargain.
Point is, lot of people out there who are just on here to scam money out of others, rather than just make a few extra dollars or let someone else love an item you never could. Hope this helped, just looking out for the community.
