There are 4 things I have learned about ebay, these are the things you should check for so you don’t get swindled and to be an expert, those things are as followed;
1.Check the seller’s feedback, it is very important to know if the seller is legit or making things up, positive feedback of over 5 should do it and if they have any negative feedback, take it into account.
2.Check the postage price, a lot of items on ebay are ‘Buy it now’ for $1 and usually have an enormous postage fee, this is because the seller is stingy and don’t want to pay for the ebay fees, so before you purchase an item at a very low price, check the postage.
3.Check the usual ending price of similar items, it is important not to get your hopes up on ebay, check other items for a general ending price, as a former seller, I posted an item at $50 after 7 days it made its way up to only $60, then in the last hour it blasted its way up to $250, a lot people on ebay wait to pounce on an item, you need to have strategy on ebay to get the item you want at a good price so look around and absorb all the info you can about the item you want to purchase.
4.Check payment Options, a lot of people on ebay will take your money and wont send you item, it’s the facts of ebay, so make sure the payment option has paypay, it is the safest way to purchase an item, if the seller doesn’t send the item, you can use paypal to get your money back, I guess if the seller ask if you can send cash, you refuse and report him.
So that’s the beginners buyer guide to ebay.
