For beauty on a budget, try these great money saving tips:

 

  • Stand a dried-up mascara in a glass of warm water to bring it back to life.

  • Sharpen dull eyebrow tweezers by rubbing with sandpaper.

  • Use an old toothbrush to brush eyebrows into shape.

  • Revive dried-up nail poilish with a drop of remover. Shake well.

  • Get the last drop out of you bottles, stand them upside down overnight.

  • Keep perfume samples from magazines in you bag for an instant freshen-up.

  • Eyeshadow doubles as an eyeliner. Apply with a cotton bud. Dampen for darker look.

  • Save money on expensive manicure oils, just rub olive oil  into your nails nightly.

  • If you run out of blusher, use a dot of lipstick & blend well

  • Turn lipstick into lip gloss by applying vasoline or lip balm on top.

  • Boost shine of dark hair by rinsing in diluted vinegar. Blonde hair use lemon juice.

  • Turn ordinary mascara into the lash lengthening ones, by dusting the eyelashes with a little translucent powder first.

  • Store make-up & fragrances in cool dark places, to extend their life span.

  • Place lip & eye pencils in the fridge before sharpening, as they are less likely to break (waste).

  • If you run out of loose powder, use a light dusting of unperfumed talcum powder instead. (Don't se too much or you'll end up looking white)

  • Make your own detangling hair product by mixing 1 part of your favorite conditioner  & 10 parts water.  Then put into a recycled pump hair spray bottle.

  • Massaging you face regularly with almond oil or olive oil works wonders for dry skin.
