Diamond River Ranch  Whether you are a local or an international visitor to Western Australia, visiting the spectacular Bungle Bungles Purnululu National Park is a MUST!  I have lived and worked there previously as a guide and can highly recommend it.

Competent 4WDers may like to tackle the 52 kilometre winding track through scenic cattle station country but BE WARNED- It usually takes a minimum of 2 hours due to the rocky conditions.  Nothing too technical, it's just slow.  Make sure you take a couple of spares and don't worry, there's lots of traffic on the track should you run into any difficulty.

Other options include joining one of the daily 4WD tours or flying in via a scenic tour or private plane.  The park has its own all weather airstrip and scenic helicopter flights are also available.

The Ranger Station has all the info and maps you will need and there is also a drop off box for fees and camping.  No pets allowed.

Should you prefer the luxury of a safari style camp, complete with hot showers and dining, I can highly recommend Easthis t Kimberley Tours, Kununurra.

Hope you enjoyed this guide and any questions, please don't hesitate to ask,

Misty.
