Ebay is a great place to find a bargain when buying a car.
Before you begin to bid on a car you should decide on your maximum budget and what model of car you would like.
The internet is great for finding out information about what cars are out there and the pros and cons of each model. It is wise to look into things such as the cost of insurance and the fuel economy of the model you are interested in before you buy. All of this can be found online.
It is ussually best to watch the auctions for a few weeks before buying to get an idea of the price which the model you are interested in is selling for. This can be done conveniently by searching for the model you are after and adding them to your watched items list.
When looking at the selling price take note of things such as the number of Km's travelled, the length of registration remaining and any damage or accesories as all of these impact on the selling price.
Always ask the seller any questions you have and make sure you get a response before bidding.
If possible arrange to inspect the vehicle and take a knowledgable person with you.
Finally, before bidding it is best to do a REVS check to ensure that there is no money left owing on the vehicle.
Once armed with all this information you are ready to bag yourself a bargain in the Ebay auction halls.
