If you're a retro 50's chic or chicco !..Finding those vintage details and accessories you want is easy when you're not sure what you want .When you shop by foot and come home dissapointed thats harder when you have made a impulsive choice.

So when you shop for vintage retro on ebay you find exactly what you're looking for a such a super low cost and better quality.

When trying to  make new clothing  look vintage it's great to find the fine details  to help push the authenticity a bit further and as you skim more and more ( by hand ) on ebay you learn more about what you want and what you like to find at a great cost and when you need it.

For instance if you like clothing from the fifities you're like me not able to find larger sizes is harder when looking for 50's vintage unless they're hats ,gloves or shoes of course.Looking for the vintage and retro fabrics are a wonderful idea, then finding vintage  fastenings like buttons, and buckles are your best bet.

Most 50's clothing are quite simply designed so study your dress of choice and find a pattern in the craft catergorie in the sewing sub- catergorie and there you will find cap sleeve dresses, shirt dresses with fastenings in the front , most 80's designs were abbrieviated from 50's clothing design but just adjusted to make it look more natural without cinchers, bodices or corsets.Creating these looks for larger sizes can be adjusted with buying simple design patterns and understanding the difference.

When trying to find fastenings buckles and buttons are almost always under the retro buttons /vintage buckles lot / art deco buckles/ 50's buckles/and buttons old buttons /tin buttons/vintage buttons, just for that touch of class. Then everything you can buy freely without worrying about sizing.Happy shopping
