DO NOT waste your time of money with these Arduino shields folks - they are a complete dud!
No Arduino libraries or any support documentation are offered by the Chinese sellers of these shields.
So you are left to try and guess which libraries, offered by PROFESSIONAL sellers of these boards (e.g. Adafruit), will work with them.
I have spent a lot of time trying different libraries and reading various documentation about ESP8622 and I have had no success getting this shield to do anything useful.
And many other buyers of these cheap shield are having similar problems with them.
So don't bother buying them.
You are better off saving yourself a considerable amount of time and effort by purchasing the Adafruit products etc, which come with professional support.
Read this thread on the Arduino forum and you will see how much trouble these shields are:

I've got this board and could not find the way to connect it with my board.
Here are detailed information about it:
