Hello I'd like to briefly outline my early experiences and how they helped me to embark on a whole new way to shop from home. My computer skills had always been fairly ordinary and although I'd often heard mention of 'E-Bay' from family and friends I never thought that I'd become a regular and committed user. Following my first purchase over a year ago and the use of Paypal as the prefferred payment option my three grown children also got into the act for fear of their Dad leaving them behind on the I.T. shopping trail. My first aquisition was a digital camera, something I always wanted and due to the cost savings through the bidding system on offer and the high quality of the goods I have since been straight onto the website to browse any items that come close to what I'm looking for. I've also realised that it pays to bid on an item you want regardless of how low the current bid is. This has saved me hundreds of $$$ . It is important also to view the postage cost of items so as to factor in this cost as it forms part of the overall value of the product.I've found that also there is always on offer some items you would never expect such as used furniture, kitchen utensils ,old car parts or even unwanted clothing. My favourite site is 'offers ending soon' as this shows how many minutes etc are left on items and saves you watching the item for days.. Examples of my purches are rechargeable batteries, fishing tackle, camera attachments, worktools and printing supplies. It is always important for me to pay for won goods immediately through Paypal and to leave feedback as soon as possible upon receipt of the goods. I've also met some great people in the process and hope soon to be offering my own items for sale.
