Bought a surf rod from Premium Fishing.com.au (Melbourne based E bay store) in December 2011. Rod broke on first use (reel seat came loose which makes the rod inoperable). Made a claim under warranty in early January 2012 (well within the published warranty period). Despite numerous E-mails from me to date to the nominated contact (Bek) including the provision of photos of the problem rod, they have not honoured their warranty. Buyers should beware of poor after sales support and voiding warranty from this E bay seller.
