The Genuine Poetic Slimline case for NEXUS 7 FHD 2ND GEN 2013 VERSION always has retail packaging with a barcode at the back. Before you buy - ask the seller if the case comes with FULL RETAIL PACKAGING. If it does not, be VERY VERY cautious and buy from somewhere else.

As you can see the fake Poetic only comes with a cheap plastic bag.

GENUINE POETIC SLIMLINE cases always fit snuggly and perfectly. The same cannot be said for the cheap copies.

This is another example of a fake "slimline" case for the nexus 7. NOTE the metal clasp in the middle of the case, which extends to the back of the cover - scratches the screen easily (that's why sellers of this fake case always include a "free" screen protector.

DO NOT BE FOOLED by this cheap copy. The wake/close magnets are either NOT STRONG ENOUGH to wake the device or TOO STRONG and will damage the internals of your Nexus 7.

We have had many customers complain to us stating this fake copy did NOT FIT well and the metal clasp damaged their screens.

ask yourself WHY RISK IT on your $300 device? ALWAYS BUY GENUINE POETIC SLIMLINE.

Note this fake copy "slimline" case.
Where is the famous POETIC logo?
Instead the logo is replaced by a ugly metal clasp.

Close up look of the FAKE POETIC SLIMLINE - NOTE the metal clasp extending to the inside of the screen . It will damage and scratch the screen for sure!

Another look at a FAKE POETIC SLIMLINE back side - as you can see the speaker cut out is ONE WHOLE cut out instead of 2  separate small ones - a sign of cheap workmanship - then again you get what you pay for.

ask yourself - WHY BUY A CHEAP CASE FOR SUCH AN EXPENSIVE DEVICE? IS IT WORTH THE RISK OF DAMAGING YOUR NEXUS 7?
IS IT WORTH THE RISK OF BAD FITMENT AND A SCRATCHED SCREEN?
