To celebrate 150 years since formation a special commemorative guernsey was released on behalf of Geelong Football Club during the 2009 AFL season. It had printed on it the names of those who played for the club from 1897 onwards - a span of 112 years.
It does not have all the names of players who played for Geelong over that 150 year span of time.
Some iconic people have been missed off it. For example, the name Charles Brownlow is not printed on the guernsey.
A number of sellers on eBay have been told that their description of the guernsey, "every name for 150 years" or words to that effect, is incorrect. However, they continue to ignore the information passed on to them and thus false and misleading description of the item remains.
eBay has a policy about Item Misrepresentation, but although requested to take action and have corrections made or items removed for breach of that policy, eBay staff have ignored the situation and allow Item Misrepresentation to continue.
