Most e-bay users are not aware that e-bay (like just about any community) has a large quantity of online stores, with many items that do not show up in normal search results.

E-bay stores usually centre around traders in a particular area, for example DVD stores, Comic Book stores, etc.  Most items offered in these stores are buy-it-now items, where no bidding on the item is required. Put simply, if you like the item and it's price, you can buy it right away without having to wait days for an auction to end.

To find items available in these stores, firstly search for the item you want as you normally would, which will bring a page similar to this one:

Simply click your mouse in the check boxes I have circled, (for which a little tick will pop up) which are:

  • Location:  Worldwide (or you can change to your particular country for local stores)
  • All Items Including Store Inventory Items

Then click the SEARCH button again, and far more items will now be displayed for you to browse.

This will open up to hundreds of more items that you would not normally find by normal search results.  Some e-bay stores have large volume buying power, with some stores stocking over 50,000 items, where the savings can be passed onto you, and therefore you can get a cheaper item without having to bid for it or wait for it.  Stores also offer far better postage discounts on multiple purchases than most private sellers can afford to match.
