Complete Packing Solutions

Keep it simple

Packing rooms individually can reduce clutter, stress and risk of forgetting important items. Start by first  packing storage areas and attics, finish with the kitchen and bathrooms last as these will still be in use during the packing and moving process.

Wrap, pack and protect

Pack carefully, stack items tightly, don't overfill boxes, and fill the gaps well.
Loose items, uneven stacking and empty voids in boxes  will cause contents within to move around during transport.

Protect from the elements

Wrap and protect mattresses, furniture and valuable household items from the elements.
When in storage use waterproof storage protection covers or even stretch wrap.
These will help to preserve your items for even longer.

Caution!
Mattresses and fabric furniture items can carry moisture from use, so ensure these are well cleaned and completely dry before storing for long periods.

Protect the goods

Wrap furniture, artworks and antiques with heavy duty blankets, these provide excellent protection from knocks, bumps and load shifts.

These blankets are also excellent for covering slippery surfaces, lay on the truck floor for even better protection.

Strong Boxes

For heavy, fragile or precious goods always use a double cushion box for extra protection, also known as twin cushion.

Twin cushion boxes can be stacked easily on each other creating valuable space during transport and whilst in storage.

Grab a pen!

Boxes should be labeled immediately with a marker pen , always indicate the contents on a side that’s easily visible when the box is stacked. For 'fragile' items label with tape or indicated clearly on all sides.

Boxes should ideally be numbered or named individually for similar rooms i.e 'Bedroom 1' or 'Master Bedroom'
