Starting a Collection

Watching DVDs is a great way to build a collection of movies and music concerts that you love. Once a week or every night of the week, you deserve a break, so give yourself a treat. Indulge in a movie night as this the perfect way to enjoy DVDs in the comfort of your home. Just sit back and relax and enjoy watching some of your all time favourite movies and music concerts. My collection and enthusiasm for movies is forever increasing.

How to Find DVDs on eBay
Begin by typing the title of the DVD in the search bar along with the format of the DVD, such as DVD or Blu-ray. You can then narrow down the number of results by selecting results from your country only, items that are suitable for your region and new or used DVDs.

How to Buy Used DVDs on eBay
When looking for a used DVD you can narrow down the number of results by looking for individual grades of condition. To do this click on DVDs & Blu-ray discs, underneath the heading Movies, which will then bring up the different grades of used condition, under the Condition category. By selecting a grade of used condition, such as Like New, Very Good, Good or Acceptable condition, you are able to compare items  in a similar condition more easily. You could then choose a Like New item to add to your collection without spending the extra money for a New DVD.  In addition to this, in the Condition Description section, under  Item Condition, you can then check for any faults or blemishes, as this is where honest sellers will list any defects, missing parts, scratches or wear and tear to the item. If this field is left blank then it may be wise to choose another seller.

How to Choose DVDs on eBay
When choosing DVDs on eBay, you have to research your options as to which seller to buy from. The best way to avoid mistakes is to choose a reputable eBay seller, one with experience and one with a good feedback record. Look at the feedback comments and note if the seller will send your item well packaged as inexperienced sellers will often skimp on packaging. Receiving your item damaged always makes you wish you had of taken these things into consideration before purchasing. Remember to read the listing thoroughly and pay attention to the item specifics and description. If there is anything you are unsure about ask the seller a question before purchasing. Effective communication is one of the keys to a good transaction.
