Hi, It's Aussie-Bargainz here. In the few years I've been on eBay I've worked out a few ways how to get around the huge prices, Minimize that and save over 40% of the actual cost...

What i don't suggest: If buying expensive electronic goods (Digital Cameras, Video Cameras, iPods) DO NOT BUY FROM CHINA! If they break, You've got to return it.. Returning it means your paying, You have to send everything back including box, accessories and the rest.. That's more weight. Plus you add insurance or a tracking ID it's well over $40.

Here's a few tips to minimize price.. I just bought an item which was a 160GB External Western Digital Hard Drive.

I was looking at $90 including postage and handling, That was buy it now from Australia. So i was looking around under the search term "160GB External hard drive" and everything i found was not getting me anywhere, No price different and if there was, it was only $2 or so.

so what i did was re-searched under names people may make a mistake on, Or might not use the common name for the item and put it as an alternative. Like "Portable" hard drive...

Guess what! i put in 160GB Portable,  next thing you know, I've got a 160GB hard drive, buy it now $49 + $9 express post. That's $58, i just saved $32...

Bargains like these are everywhere, You just got to this outside the box, So before you buy something check alternative naming, or just simple  160GB and see what pops-up you might find yourself an awesome bargain
