Original Radio Remove

  1. First you need to remove your radio original dashboard there is plenty of instruction tutorial available on Youtube for this .  Search for your car make and model ex : "Toyota Yaris 2010 radio removal...." some car will need an aftermarket fascia to go with aftermarket radio to replace the original fascia . Some car don't . For branded Radio like Pioneer Kenwood you will need a fascia with openning size 173 x 98 mm . For Chinese Generic Unbranded Radio bigger size is required 178 x 100 mm

Install new radio using iso harness

To make the job easier there is 2 ISO harness design for the job , let say we upgrading Toyota OEM Radio to Pioneer Aftermarket . First you need to identify if you need to retain the steering wheel control ( you will need a SWC Primary Harness more expensive than normal harnesss ) if your car don't have steering wheel control button a normal primary harness will do
1 . Primary ISO Harness - Toyota to ISO
2 . Secondary ISO Harness - Pioneer to ISO
3.Both ISO Plug Male-Female will plug together to connect up power + speaker wire

For Steering wheel control harness you also need an extra patch lead to go from harness to 3.5mm remote control input in the Pioneer radio
