MISUNDERSTANDING MADE GOOD!
Issue: A buyer wanted to pick up a purchased item. I wasn't available for that, being busy with other activities. I offered to deliver and also that wasn't suitable, so the buyer elected for standard postage. The Postage was unusually slow and the buyer became disgruntled and misunderstandings arose in subsequent ebay emails, apparently the item was needed urgently.
All's well that ends well. I kept in contact until the item did arrive then I gave positive feedback as the payment and communication were open and prompt. I thought for a little while then I bought a gift voucher and posted it to the buyer for their inconvenience.
Why: We are all different and affected by many different happenings. I believe we need to be tolerant of others, particularly when others are at a distance as we have no idea of their circumstances. Sometimes after the event, when the dust has settled, a little token can be of great comfort and speak so much louder than words however meaningful and genuine.
