I have been doing a few spanish courses over the time, once you have the basics behind you...for me, the best way to remember and speak spanish is by repetitive work. I play a certain spanish cd which I love, it has about 6 different scenarios that you would find yourself in spain ( in this instance, but it could be any country ) and I constantly talk and mimic as the cd plays on the way to work, driving distances or walking / jogging. Once you know the cd pretty good, you just put yourself in the same situation and use the story phrases to move ahead with your language study. Its surprising just how much sticks in the old grey matter, and when you can sit and say something that is understood by both parties in a foreign country...the feeling is great. You dont need to be a world beater, just showing that you are trying is the greatest race barrier in the world. Cheers.
