Of all the trendy metallic nail art that you can do on your own, this X-shaped metallic nails will make your nails an edgy accessory. Its like a play of patterns using silver, gold and bronze nail polish and finished with metal studs. Follow these steps to create get this look:

Step 1: Gather everything you need for this nail art.

Here’s the list:
-Base coat
-4 different shades metallic nail polish (change from array of silver, gold, grey nail polishes)
-one white and one black nail polish
-Fine nail art brush
-Gold square studs
-Nail tape, scissors, & tweezers
-Quick-dry top coat

Step 2: On a freshly cleaned and trimmed nails, evenly apply base coat. Leave them to dry. You may apply quick-dry top coat to speed up drying time.

Step 3: Cut a few strips of nail tape.Forming an X pattern at the center of the nails, carefully place the tape on the nails.

Step 4: Paint the base portion or section of the X-pattern with gold nail polish.

Step 5: Paint the tip portion of the nail with silver nail polish.

Step 6: Paint the right section of the nail with dark grey nail polish.

Step 7: Paint the left portion of the nail with light grey nail polish.

Step 8: Once the nail polish is dry, use tweezers to carefully remove the nail tape.

Step 9: Use your finer nail art brush and black nail polish to outline the crisscross pattern where you placed the nail tape.

Step 10: Put a dot of top coat at the center of the X pattern you made and place a piece of stud in that same spot. You can do the same with your other nails

Step 11: Should you choose not to put stud in all your nails, draw a square using your base coat or white nail polish at the middle of the nails that you chose not to put stud on.

Step 12: Outline the square with black nail polish. use your fine nail art brush.

Step 13: Finish up your nail art with a top coat.
