Open All Hours, a classic British comedy, was originally transmitted in 1976 this hilarious sitcom follows the exploits of Arkwright, played by the late great Ronnie Barker.
Arwright, a penny pinching grocer with a stutter (and a deathtrap for a till!) is the owner of a cornershop and has an all consuming passion for the local matronly midwife Nurse Gladys Emmanuel.

David Jason (Only Fools and Horses, A Touch of Frost) is Arkwright’s nephew Granville whose father, he dreams, is a displaced Hungarian aristocrat. Granville works tirelessly in the cornershop but is desperate to experience life in the outside world.

This is a BBC one comedy disc DVDwith a running time of 200 minutes and includes scene selection, writer profiles and the pilot episode.

It includes the following episodes:
