Outrageous postage on Chinese violins

Phenomenal postage charges are a common eBay scourge, however recently I have come across a few shockers. We have found a few traders in China and East Asia who are selling violins very cheaply, around AU$25, and charging AU$300-400 in postage. My fiance is new to eBay and initially didn't scrutinise postage, so nearly got caught out. This is clearly displayed in the postage section of the listing but if you don't look you could get stuck. By all means if you think $400 for a Chinese violin is worth it then go nuts but looking at these ones I seriously doubt it.
