When buying from overseas countries take into consideration that you may be paying GST and Stamp Duty tax when your items arrive at Australian Customs.

Customs charge 15% Stamp duty and 10% GST on any overseas purchases of  $1000 Australian Dollars or more.  They calculate this by adding your purchase price and shipping costs.  In other words, If they add up to $1000 Australian dollars or more you will have to pay their charges.
