READ AUSSIE COLLECTABLES STORY...PAYPAL OFFERS NO PROTECTION FOR SELLERS, BUT WE ARE FORCED TO OFFER IT. BUYERS CAN CLAIM  NON RECEIPT WHEN NOT ASKING FOR TRACKING (REGISTERED MAIL) AND AS SELLERS THE BUYER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. CASE HISTORY, A $0.99 CENT ITEM SENT AIR MAIL TO THE STATES, BUYER CLAIMS NON RECEIPT. I RECEIVE THE ITEM BACK STAMPED AND STICKERED BY THE U.S. MAIL SERVICE SAYING DELIVERY ATTEMPTED, NOT KNOWN, NO FORWARDING ADDRESS, RETURN. I OFFERED THE BUYER A REFUND OF THE PURCHASE PRICE BUT NOT POSTAGE, I OFFERED TO SEND AGAIN IF HE PAID POSTAGE. HE WENT TO DISPUTED WITH PAYPAL AND WON, DESPITE MY APPEAL. I WAS DEBITED THE FULL COSTS, INCLUDING THE POSTAGE PLUS THEIR 50 CENT FEE FOR DEBITING MY ACCOUNT AND PUTTING THE TOTAL IN HIS ACCOUNT. IS THIS JUSTICE, I DON'T THINK SO, JUST A TYPICAL "WE RULE THE WORLD AND YOU NEED US, SO TRY IT WITHOUT US". WISH I COULD NEGATE PAYPAL BUT I CAN'T AUCTION ITEMS WITHOUT OFFERING THEIR SERVICES. THEIR COSTS FOR A DEPOSIT INTO YOUR ACCOUNT IS 38% ON A 99 CENT SALE. ADD THAT TO THEIR PARENT COMPANY OF A LISTING FEE OF 30 CENTS, PLUS 5% COMMISSION...BUYERS RALLY ALONGSIDE US, GIVE US THE CHOICE YOU HAVE BY BEING ABLE TO BUY GOODS WHERE YOU WANT AND NOT BEING TOLD YOU CAN ONLY PAY USING A CERTAIN CREDIT CARD. THANKS FOR LISTENING TO MY GRIPE.
